Current Students
Career and Internship Services serves currently enrolled and degree-seeking undergraduate and graduate students in the following colleges:

  • College of Continuing Education (Degree-seeking Students Only)
  • College of Design
  • College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences

We also serve:

  • Self-designed majors with an emphasis in the above colleges

Students NOT in the above programs can find their career office by visiting www.career.umn.edu

Alumni
Recent grads can use career services for two years after graduation. For alumni who graduated more than two years ago, we offer a complimentary one-hour appointment to help you get started. All alumni can view job postings using GoldPASS, the job posting site for students and alumni. Be sure to also check out Gold Mind for expert talks on career and other topics hosted by the UMN Alumni Association.

  • Daily drop-in resume and cover letter reviews
  • Career interest assessments and individual appointments for major/career exploration
  • Individual appointments for job/internship searching including resumes, cover letters, networking, job searching, interview preparation and practice, offer negotiation, and graduate school planning
  • Career fairs and networking events hosted throughout the year
