About the Major

The Forest and Natural Resource Management major prepares students to plan, implement, and research the management, protection, and sustainable use of forest and related resources, including timber, water, wildlife, recreation, and aesthetic resources.

The curriculum allows students to choose between three areas of specialization: Forest Ecosystem Management & Conservation, Park & Protected Area Management, and Urban & Community Forestry.
